I think 80 is just a stepping stone. I don't see many people celebrating 80 as much as the milestone of 100 since the number 100 is just so nice and round.

It is 100% a stepping stone on the way to 100. 75 would have been the last big milestone, now we look towards the century mark to really stake a claim as the best sim league in the known universe

Honestly, I don't think that the 80th season is a special milestone. Especially given that we have more than 5 seasons every IRL year, it seems a bit excessive to be celebrating that often. Save all the whoop-dee-doos for 100.

Clearly 80 is important because it is a round number, and we all know round numbers are the most important. In honesty I think the league should hold off any major milestone celebration until season 100 this way we do not over do it. Yes it will take another 2 years to reach 100, but it will make the celebration that much better.

80 isn't really a milestone. 80 seasons is cool and all but i don't think i've seen any company or league or team ever celebrate their 80th anniversary

I’d say 80 is an important milestone for sure! Definitely reason to celebrate. But maybe just a little celebration as a treat. Very soon we will be having the biggest celebration of all at 100!

Any new era can be defined by turning the page into a season numbered with a multiple of 10s. I initially did join in the 50s and I rejoined in 70s, but now w are heading into the 80s with new players coming in to define it.

80 is a massive achievement for any league so celebrating this is a no-brainer. Maybe keep all the huge fanfare and events for season 100, but some events or special giveaways/tpe extra events could be good.

Season 80 is just a stepping stone to 100. Just another notch in the belt, we usually only celebrate lifetime achievements every 25 years. Season 75 was an important milestone and so will 100. Which i plan on still being here, probably on a forward re-create.

80 is definitely an important milestone! If you really think about it, every season is - it represents another turn of the page and that the league is alive and well, and that’s a cause worth celebrating! Smile

80 is a milestone, but not so much as 75. A proper celebration would be giving me 80 tpe. I think that sounds pretty good.

You can always celebrate a milestone and every 10 seasons or so is always something worth considering. 80 seasons is incredible considering the amount of other sim leagues that have risen and fallen in the same time.

80 is a big number and deserves some celebration and acknowledgment but if you celebrate every 5 or 10 seasons it doesn’t feel special anymore. I think one under the radar way to celebrate season 80 without burning everyone out on celebrations would be to up the fighting sliders

This is a stupid question. Of course 80 is important, any year past a couple is important. It shows the health and dedication of this league and our collective health and joy. I am so proud to be part of this league and 80 seasons should be cause for celebration.
