The 80th Anniversary of the league is a significant year for the league which is a shame because its such a dorky number. 50 is good, 100 is good, 75 also works but 80 is just such a middle child number that its sad

I think milestones mean something different in a league like the SHL than they otherwise might. So to me it makes sense to also celebrate S80 alongside with S75, and maybe even S90 in the future, but both of those should be lesser celebrations than 75.

The only ones I think should be celebrated are 50, then 100. After that, they should only be celebrated every 100 seasons. Celebrating 80 seems weird. Are we also going to celebrate 90? 110? Etc.

I think that the 80th season anniversary is basically just a nice even number, but not worth celebrating as a milestone, especially if the 75th season was just celebrated. Can't have too many milestone seasons taking away from the 100th coming somewhat soon.

I think that every successful season is worth celebrating, and while traditionally 80 might not be seen as big as 75 or 100, it's still a very impressive number that everyone should be proud of.

While I think season 80 is bugging to scoff at, I do think concentrating efforts on bigger celebrations will make them feel more special. Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.

I think 80 is important but not important enough to make a big deal out of it. I think the league should wait until 100 before making a big deal out of anything.

I don't think 80 is an unimportant milestone but I don't think it has the same umph if you will as 75 does. Every season is an important milestone, honestly.

Not to discount 80 seasons, but 80 is a bit of weird milestone to celebrate, in my opinion. We did a little bit of celebrating for S75, so it's probably not worth doing anything big for 80. I'm not against it, but more interested in what we do for S100.

Season 80 is significant in that it ends in a 0 which is arguably normally a significant milestone however I think 75 over shadows it for being 3/4 of the way to 100

I think S80 is exactly as important as every other season we've ever had to be honest, why would it be any more important than any other? Every season that the league doesn't fold is a new record.

I think that every season we make it through is a milestone in itself. It is truly amazing that a group of volunteers has been able to make this complex league run smoothly for 1 season, nevermind 80.

In our society 80 is just as important as 77 but not quite important as 75 or 100. We like our numbers round. Increments of 25 are only celebrated because of its relation to 100.
