This is a tough one. I wouldn't want to take the easy way out and not take on the hard teams like LAP or SFP only to make the bracket easier on us. They provide us a challenge and when we get past those big hurdles the win means that much more!
The past few seasons our first round has been a bit different as well. We always see CHI or NOLA early. It would be neat to instead of see a West/East swap, but instead just seeing maybe CGY or SEA switch places with CHI or NOLA just to see how the first round changes. Once the first round changes the rest will change as well.

Baltimore needs to be removed. We are bad and with no end in site. Teams tend to get stuck in mediocrity and those are the ones who should be removed. Let’s add a completely new team from Regina.

Hard to say for me, but surely there is at least one team that are close to us but isn't in our division? 
I feel likle Chicago is far from us, maybe a switch with Tampa or Atlanta?

I would replace NEW with EDM. Luke is too good and it would be nice for us to play Gabe a bunch of times a season ans beat up on him.

The Colorado Raptors by far the worst logo in the league let alone in the conference I feel like that enough to remove them from the league

I'd remove Atlanta in a heartbeat. Why? They are just too good. 54 wins?! It is absolutely insane the success they are having this season. Makes me jealous and I would like an easier path to experiencing some of that for myself.

I would get rid of Winnipeg, as it is a cold, dark place that most people don't want to travel to and place a team in another place where there is more people and ticket sales which would benefit the league greatly, someone like New York or a big city.
