idk how he has been with Dallas cause i dont watch them play much, but that was a pretty even trade at the time

points-wise he's been good with Dallas

Kessel can play with anyone and will make them beast. Thank god we have a forward like that. I pray to god first thing we need to do is resign Kessel

Honestly, as much as it hurts. I think that "Meltdown in Beantown" could possibly be a good thing.

1) It Makes them a Stronger team. Look at the 2010 Boston Bruins for an example they where up in the series 3-0 and lost the whole thing and made somewhat history just like us which is even worst than blowing a 4-1 lead. Next year they end up winning the Stanley Cup (not saying we will in 2014 ) but this loss will certainly stick in the back of the minds of these players for the rest of their careers, and will make the team stronger and now they know what its like to compete in the Playoffs and what it takes.

2) The team will be touched and upgrades will be needed where Nonis and the others see fit (as they said in the presser yesterday). If we would have won we could most likely see the same group without any major changes and I want to see some major changes this off-season. Especially a "Real" Right handed top 4 defenseman to play with Phaneuf. Sign Clarkson and get some more Top 6 Grit in the Line-Up and possibly get a number 1 center like Stastny.

I dont see Colorado accepting Grabo+Ross for Staz, cuz Staz is a big part of the puzzle for them imo, with all the young guys they have hes gonna be needed leadership wise.

He's a 6+mil third line centre for them going forward. That's brutal. You can sign good veteran leadership for 5mil less.

Im listening to Fan 590 right now, They pretty much say that Stastny will be the guy playing with Kessel come fall time.

I'm going to have to watch some old games with Stastny in it. Get a better feel for what he is like. Every time I have watched him I wasn't really impressed, but then again I wasn't focusing on him directly.

Never once said I was superior to him lmao. Why would he be looking for an upgrade in net when Reimer clearly showed he can handle the starting job and even be one of the better goalies in the league.
