Rielly isn't playing in the NHL yet, there is no reason to rush him when we have capable defenseman. Also Fraser should have a spot next season. He played a great shutdown role this year.

He is the only player we should target, he is big and strong and can protect the puck, His skating would fit well with our team as well. A great two-way player that has great passing skills also. Can play along the boards which is a need after seeing that series against the Bruins.

The number one problem is solved if Frederik Gauthier is available at 21, many mock drafts and scouts suggest it. I just hope Nonis and the management doesnt pull something Burke would do and Draft Adam Erne or something like that. We have enough grinders like Biggs, Ashton and Ross.

If all the Centers like Gauthier, Domi, Horvat, Lazar etc are gone. I would take a look at Kerby Rychel or Anthony Mantha

idk anything about Gauthier, but getting him does not mean the #1 problem is solved lol
