Lol he's 100 point talented. He can take over the game at will and when he does he's one of the best players on the ice it's a matter of getting him motivated. Just watch his goal against Nashville or any goal he scored in the playoffs last year he does things with ease. He just doesn't try most nights. If he tried hard every night there is 0 doubt in my mind he would be a 100 point player it's the fact he doesn't try that's his downfall

No because you can very easily tell when he's trying and when he's not. Has nothing to do with being shut down. He just doesn't care

Fair enough, I don't think I've seen enough to make that call but in his defense, many players take shifts off and almost every player in the league have games where they just aren't in it. He isn't the first or the worst, and he won't be the last. Lets also not forget that if hes invisible, he also isnt hurting you...he just isnt helping
