No. High stick is a high stick.
Fucking undisciplined stupid penalties killing us again. What the fuck PK we were beast last year. ![]() Registered S8, S9, S13, S22 Challenge Cup Champion
Our PK loses us another game. Jealous of the Sharks zone entry, passing and cycling. They have a good team this year. Can't wait until we're home on Thursday.

Players and goalkeepers must be in control and responsible for their stick. However, a player is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion. A wild swing at a bouncing puck would not be considered a normal windup or follow through and any contact to an opponent above the height of the shoulders shall be penalized accordingly. ![]() Banned Secretly Loves Montreal Quote:Originally posted by Boon@Oct 13 2013, 12:03 AM^ ![]() Registered S8, S9, S13, S22 Challenge Cup Champion ![]() Registered S10, S12, S20, S21, S28 Challenge Cup Champion
I just posted the actually rule. Most referees call anything a high stick. Shot follow through and all. Ive seen it called more often than not.

Sometimes it is hard to tell when it is a follow through and when it isn't and it gets called because of that. I guess now ref's should stop making the right call because some other ref missed a call......Ya that wouldn't spiral out of control fast lol. ![]() Banned Secretly Loves Montreal
i honestly dont think ive ever seen a high stick penalty on a shot follow through.
if i have, i dont remember it, but i would know it was the wrong call and i would expect the commentators to know the same |
