Requirements: At least 200 words.  Must include at least two stats.
Jimmy Wagner has been St. Louis' back end rock all season long. Between the pipes, the young stud has already proven that he is among the best in Juniors and it will be only a matter of time before he takes the SHL by storm. For now, however, he remains a torment to the SMJHL playoffs. In Round 1 of the SMJHL playoffs, Wagner posted an incredible game 2 against the Prince George Firebirds. Wagner posted an incredible 21 saves on 22 shots (.955 sv%). Wagner earned his first victory of the playoffs with this performance and helped lead St. Louis to its first victory on its road to the Four Star cup.

Wagner's play was consistent across the entire outing. Facing 7 shots in the first period, he stopped each. Early in the second period, Prince George came out firing and were able to slide one past Wagner as he moved from left to right across his goal crease. That would be the last of the goal scoring for the Birds, as Wagner put them on ice. Saving the remaining 13 shots on goal and allowing St. Louis to capture the victory just 16 seconds into the overtime period.

The chance to capture a Four Star Cup generally comes around once in a players lifetime, twice at most. With the short nature of stays in junior hockey these days, players do not have much time to chase the illusive cup championship victory before heading to the stomping ground of the SHL. Tonight, we bring you a recap of just that, a chance to capture the Four Star Cup. Coming into tonight's matchup, Detroit is riding high leading the series 3 games to 2 in this best of seven series. Winner take all.

Detroit gets off to a quick start and peppers the Crows with 15 shots in the first stanza. Going into the break, the Falcons hold a 2-1 lead. In the second period, much of the same. Detroit again comes out and swarms the scarecrows as they pepper Wagner with another 10+ shot period. However, the results do not show up on the score sheet as the game remains with the slimmest of margins, 2-1 Falcons. In the third and final period, the Falcons hold the Scarecrows to just 2 shots on goal. In one of the most dominant performances in recent SMJHL history, the Falcons out shoot the Scarecrows 33 to 9, in a convincing 3-1 game 6 victory to take home the SMJHL's Four Star Cup. What an incredible experience for these young men, as many have their first opportunity to capture the elusive title and they complete it in such dominating and convincing fashion.

Congratulations to the S34 Detroit Falcons on a Four Star Cup victory in Game 6.

Task #5 - Make a top 5 list for the finals. Top 5 goals, top 5 players, top 5 noteworthy people in the audience for one of the games, whatever you want. No word count, but if you just list 5 names, you won't get the full 2 tpe. Be a little creative.

TOP 5 PLAYOFF TEAM LOGOS:
1.

This logo is just sick work by Cope. So clean, the lines are solid and the colors are sharp. Solid work.

2.

Clean logo, solid branding and a great color scheme.

3.

An old classic. A phenomenal color scheme and simple design.

4.

Thankfully no longer the Regina Force. A bird in flames is a pretty cool logo and this is a classic look. Good for 3rd place.

The logo itself is pretty sweet. Good edges and captures the theme well. The mascot itself is pretty dated.
