Oliver König: So, I know you were not able to participate in the prospect showcase because of an injury, how does that make you feel and will you be ready to participate in training camp?
Cody Fletcher: Being injured right before a showcase tournament is not a situation i would wish to my worst enemy. It's actually really frustrating as everything you wish is to be on the ice with your fellow rookies. However, doctor's order were to stay off the ice in order to heal up in time for the training camp, so I should be good to go!

Oliver König: That’s wonderful, I'm glad you will be ready for camp! So because you were not able to play in the showcase, can you speak about your playing style for a moment? What you like to do and where you like to be on the ice?
Cody Fletcher: I am currently playing on the Left Wing with a Sniper mentality. I love to shoot on the goal and hear my name in the rink's speaker. However, I still have a solid puck handling skill and passing so I am not a puck hugger. I am also pretty good defensively. I love to be where i am needed on the ice, I don’t have any specific need for that.

Oliver König: I think the GMs will like that mentality a scorer who knows when to pass and how to defend, sounds like you have a complete game. What are your future aspirations in the SHL?
Cody Fletcher: I wish to be part of a team i can call family in the future with a few perks, i would really like to develop my leadership with the team it’ll be with while keeping a high competitive standard.
