I think the most important thing to do right now is to establish a somewhat standardized process for this. Even if you personally put in the work to pump out half a dozen 2000 word articles, that would still only cover a fraction of the people in the HOF, so what we need to do is create a way that allows for as many people as possible to get involved with this, and allow them to do so on their own terms while still maintaining certain levels of quality.

So I'd suggest to hire someone or maybe a few people to oversee this whole thing, you would obviously be perfect if you are interested as you are basically our main league historian already, then maybe artermis who has been the most persistent about this idea, and one or two other old-timers who have been here a long time. This group would then come up with a few guidelines on how a HOF article would have to look like, something like "At least 1500 words", "Must include career stats/awards overview", "Must include x pictures/pictures with a jersey swap", stuff like that.

And then we make this available for everyone. People can sign up for a player and then submit an article for him and to make it really enticing we could offer double the regular media pay, but in return people have to adhere to the guidelines and have to accept that their article might get edited if the committee feels that certain things could be improved or if it wishes to standardize the layout or structure.

I think this would be a good system for this that isn't too much work for the people in charge, that allows everyone who is interested to get involved when that person has the time and motivation, while we still have some kind of quality control in place. And if we offer some good rewards, like double-media pay or maybe even a handful of TPE, then I'm sure we'll find wuite a few people who are interested.
