TASK 1: (Written, 3 TPE)
For most players season 46 is over and you have had a bit of time to reflect on your season. Talk to us about how you did.. what were some of your players best and worst moments? what were your overall numbers? did you meet your individual goals? what areas in your game were you happy with and what areas fell short? Must be 150 words or more.
Kata Vilde had a better season than I initially thought. Thanks to the player shares article it showed statistically I was one of the most important goalies to my team. My save percentage was damn good at .914, especially since I faced the second most shots in the league with 1460. And we got a rebuilding Dragons team into the playoffs and won our first 5 straight until I ran out of gas. My goals against average of 2.84 was a bit disappointing but I suppose it's to be expected with the huge number of shots against. Also only had 2 shutouts, would have liked to have been able to steal my team a few more games. The highlight of the season was sweeping the defending champs in the wild card series of the playoffs where I was pretty lights out. Then we went against Minnesota and I couldn't quite duplicate that first round magic. Overall was a pretty decent season though, like I stated a bit better than I expected it was.
Task 3: (Written, up to 5 TPE)
Pick up to 5 challenge cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth '1' TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more.
1. Between Buffalo's (WannabeFinn, Tomen) and New Orleans (JKortesi81, TheDangaZone) which set of GM's have the tactical/managerial advantage in this series and why? I feel that Kortesi and TDZ should have the advantage here. Kortesi has a ton of experience from his time in St Louis management and both guys being former Dragons they learned under the all time master in Esa. Not to slight the Buffalo guys but I just feel that the Spectres have a pretty obvious advantage in this case. 2. Between Cedric Robinson and Aleister Cain which goalie would you say had the more impressive run towards this championship series, and why? In this case I would give the nod to Cedric Robinson. While cain had a 7 game series and a 6 game series to get here Robinson suffered only one loss in each of the previous two playoff series. He is 4th in save percentage and second in goals against which are both above Cain. For these reasons I think it's pretty obvious that Cedric Robinson has been the most impressive so far. 3. Between both rosters, create an all Challenge Cup starting lineup! (D, D, F, F, F, G) and in 50 words or more explain alittle about your selections. This starts with Center Oliver Konig of Buffalo who tied for the playoff lead with 11 goals. Next you have to go with Joe Kurczewski of NO, the playoffs assist leader at 15 and the overall point leader. 3rd forward is a bit tougher, I would go with DeMaricus Smyth of NO just for the fact he had 11 big goals which is what you need in the playoffs. For defense I'd probably go with McZ and metzler for Buf, both in top 5 in playoff defenders scoring and McZ with the lead in blocked shots. And for the reasons staed in the previous task, Buf goalie Ced Robinson. 5. You have been asked by the league to choose a destination for next seasons all star game and its between New Orleans and Buffalo, which city did you decide should get this important league event and why? I think here the popular choice would have to be New Orleans. The SHL is a party league and New Orleans is a party destination without question. The food is amazing and the overall vibe is amazing as well. If you wanted a solid blue collar venue then beers and Buffalo wings is a pretty damn fine combo as well but Buffalo in reality just desn't have the ambiance of a New Orleans. 6. Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? The first one I would have to say is Joe Kurczewski. The guy was simply other worldly for Calgary for many seasons and he has not missed a beat in moving to New Orleans. Buffalo's Viktor Marius is a beast to play against as he'd just as soon knock you into next week as score a big goal, definitely a monster power forward. And finally I would have to say Goalie Ced Robinson who had a really good playoffs so far with a couple shutouts and just 1 loss in each of his 2 previous series.

Ooof, you happened to walk into one of the challenge cup teams locker room and witnessed a truly shocking visual which left you stunned! You closed your eyes and quickly left the premises... word has gotten out that something went down in the LR but the details are murky.. HO is investigating the matter and asking you 'the eye witness' to explain what happened! Must be 150 words or more. *tag anyone involved*
Wandered by the New Orleans locker room while the team was having a pre game snack. I heard a strange cooing sound, looked in and there were cages with pigeons in them. Tons of pigeons. The players all had big plates of parmesans in front of them and they were chowing down. I overheard the players saying that they were for sure going to win this thing because they knew what the Dragons dynasty used to win all their cups. This pigeon parm is gonna guarantee us victory. Doesn't even taste that bad. I felt the bile start to rise in the back of my throat as I raced to find a bathroom where I proceeded to throw up all my insides. Finally regaining my senses finally I thought what a bunch of idiots. It's the Parm Pigeon, not pigeon parm! It's chicken parm. How the hell did those guys get it wrong? I found out later that PETA was outside the arena in protest as apparently one of the equipment boys had gone to a local park with a bunch of bread and lured most of the city's pigeon population to it's doom.

The commish has asked that both challenge cup participants collaberate on a large charity event to be held during the festivities leading to the start of the finals, and you have been asked by the league to set everything up! What did you come up with? what sort of theme did you choose? what were some of the events to take place to help raise money? what players were very helpful during this process? where will the funds be donated? Must be 150 words or more. *tag anyone involved* The charity challenge this season will be an eating contest to benefit St Judes hospital and it will be held in a large pavilion raised outside the hospital. There will be a hilarious twist to the contest in that both teams will not be eating the same food. The Buffalo team will have to eat crawfish and the New Orleans team will compete eating buffalo wings. The players were very helpful in the fact they they were asked to get sponsors from their friends and from the fans per amount of food consumed. There was one particular player the fans rallied around, Buffalo's German native God McZehrl. McZehrl was heard to exclaim balls, balls, balls what is crawfish? He turned a lovely shade of green when he was told they were like mini lobster and he had to suck the brains out of the heads. The fans got behind him, he even had some pledge $50 a crawfish! In the end the Buffalo Stampede raised the most money for St Judes. They earned $73,425 by eating 512 crawfish in 15 minutes and the Spectres raised $63,851 by eating 457 buffalo wings in 15 minutes. But by far the star of the show was God McZehrl, who despite being disgusted by what he had to do was moved to tears by his fans generosity and savagely devoured 47 crawfish in the 15 minute time period to lead his team to victory. All in all it was a very popular event for both teams and fans and alot of money was raised for a good cause. @Chris-McZehrl
