![]() Registered What's a four star cup? Code: Task 2 - 3 TPE ![]() Here we see @ Code: Task 3 - 3 TPE Getting the call up to the big leagues is always a young prospect's dream, but for Perry it was something else. He'd been unfortunately ripped from his junior team at an arguably premature time in his career. That said, my rookie season in the SHL was a ride and a half. Coming into a rebuild meant the pressure was off slightly and I could find my own room to breathe and develop. Through the off-season, the number one priorities were endurance and defensive ability. The SHL is on another level to anything else, and keeping up with it meant working day in, day out, on conditioning training. Making sure I wasn't going to get gassed the second I stepped on the ice. The other top priority was just as important. Knowing where to be on the ice is absolutely crucial for a defender. The wrong positioning could lead to a nasty breakaway and in the off-season before my call-up, I worked with the New England staff both on and off the ice to make sure I'm at the peak of my game mentally in the big leagues. Code: Task 4 - 3 TPE ![]() @Steelhead77 Apparently Calgary have harnessed the power of Harry Potter art Code: Task 5 - 1 TPE 7. The West Kendall Platoon are back in the finals after a season out of the playoffs and a team that was in serious regression Choose: ('No surprise', 'mild surprise', 'major surprise' or 'in shock') and explain why. In Shock - West Kendall's period of dominance was thought to be all but over. With their players deeply ageing and not much in the way of young talent, the Platoon were looking at a few down seasons. However, some excellent moves from the management has opened up the Platoon's chances yet again and they've proven that with their appearance in the final yet again. Code: Task 7 - 3 TPE Representing each team is important, so naturally I'm about to take it over the top. Game 1's ceremony in West Kendall will begin with the Canadian anthem playing from a small JBL Flip speaker at centre ice. Then, out of no where, the roof to the arena will slide open, revealing the night sky. A faint sound of helicopters can be heard in the distance. Then suddenly, out of no where, a set of parachutes open up above the arena. One by one they drop onto the ice and open fire on the aforementioned JBL Flip speaker, leaving it in so many pieces. Then they all slide various instruments from across their backs and begin to play the USA anthem. Game 3, in Calgary. The USA anthem is played throughout the arena over the PA, properly. Suddenly the roof opens and everyone groans expecting to sit through another military parade. A faint roar is heard in the distance. Every second it gets louder and louder when all of a sudden it appears. Right above the arena. It's a literal fucking dragon. It breathes a huge breath of fire, which leaves the USA flag in tattered embers. And then, with a mighty roar. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CANADA" A death metal band appear and begin performing the most heavy performance of an anthem ever, with a literal dragon on lead vocals. Code: Task 12 - 3 TPE After practically dominating the regular season, and not facing too much trouble in the early rounds of the play-offs, West Kendall finally ran into a Buffalo in the road. The East Conference final was a tough one for the Floridian team and was their major hurdle in getting to the final. The Stampede took game 1 in a not too convincing fashion, with the score being at only 1-0 at the end of the game. Hippo Passamus (@Mayuu) scored the go-ahead goal just 5 minutes into the first period. From that point on, the game could've gone either way, but in the end finished that way. Game 2 was a much more convincing win for Buffalo, as they edged out the Platoon by 4 goals to 2. The Platoon managed to finally win a game, but again was only a 1-0 game, courtesy of Dani Forsberg (@Insayne), late into the second period. Game 4 went in the way of the Stampede, thanks to an OT winner from Kevin Hamilton (@kckolbe ). The Platoon were truly on the back foot now, with Buffalo just one goal away from going to the finals again. Fortunately, West Kendall managed to win 3 games on the bounce, finishing off game 7 with an impressive 3-0 shutout, thanks to their goalie Biscuit (@.bojo ). ![]() ![]() |
