TASK 01:

After the Outlaws big 4 star cup win the team paid for me to go back to Australia to show off our hardware. I'm not gonna lie I've got some pretty horrific memories from my time in the Australian outback but it was nice to go back and get a different view. I spent my time being paraded around, you've gotta understand that Australia has never had much achievement in hockey and for a hometown player to play an important role in the second biggest hockey trophies win was pretty important. I was given a parade and got to invite a few of my teammates along so I brought McCloud and Seger we had a great time. Also Hugh Jackman was there was Mel Gibson which was weird because I had the sneaking suspicion that I knew him from somewhere. After the parade we ended up just bar hopping with fans a few bars were ready for us and had Outlaws decorations up. Hugh Jackman wouldn't stop singing songs from Les Miserables which was a little annoying but what are you gonna do the guy's wolverine. All in all pretty good time I guess.

[font=.SF UI Text][font=.SFUIText]I have been in the SMJHL for 3 seasons now though last season was my second full season. Though I’ve enjoyed my time in the SMJHL I am excited to get my chance in the SHL sooner rather than later. I do recognize that I’ve got some work to do before I get there.[/font][/font]

[font=.SF UI Text][font=.SFUIText]I think one of my major issues has been consistency. It happened both this and last season that I started off the season hot but cooled off and was never really able to get to the same level again. I think this is something that I can work on throughout my growth. I do not think that any player has ever had a fully consistent season but that’s what I strive for personally.[/font][/font]

[font=.SF UI Text][font=.SFUIText]For the first time in a while the saint Louis SMJHL team, the scarecrows were not able to replicate its success. Though they took the eventual champions the Anaheim Outlaws to seven long hard fought games they bowed out a bit earlier than normal. The scarecrows were still a very good team however I believe they just ran into and issue that unfortunately plagues every sports dynasty out there.[/font][/font]

[font=.SF UI Text][font=.SFUIText]They got burned out. It’s tough to admit but having so many great runs tires players out. And even if the scarecrows were bringing in new faces to help the older guys out it still affects them I’m sure. The scarecrows haven’t had a significant break in a few seasons and still finished first in the league and took the eventual champions to the very brink. However, when it started getting to those late games of the season I believe you’ve gotta wonder if there wasn’t some wear and tear there.[/font][/font]
