You are at the airport awaiting a flight to meet back up with your team after spending the day being honoured as a 'Hometown Hero' in the place where you grew up! Tell us about your day... what did they have planned for you? Who did you see there? What were you given? How did it turn out? ... In 150 words or more, tell us all about this big moment as hometown hero.

Sitting in the Prague Train Station waiting for my ride, to catch up with his national team, Smyth was reminiscing over the past day in which his hometown of Blankso, Czechia being honored with the Key to the City. After going off and leading the SHL in goals and points this season, Smyth got thee invite back home to be honored with the key to the city. The day started out rather regularly, with a nice breakfast from his mom. After that is when it started to fly, Smyth had to get in his suit and meet up with the mayor prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony came a party on main street, and in Smyth's honor they paid Eric Prydz to play a 3-hour set at dusk, which is when the freaks came out and the party truly began. Soon the night would become a blur as it would fly by like nothing till he was just sitting in the Prague Train Station.

Which organization that didn't make it to the finals would you consider to be the biggest disappointment? What do you think are the main reasons why they fell short this season? (Must be 150 words or more)

As discussed in the podcast below, the organization that did not make it to the SHL Challenge Cup Finals that I would consider to be the biggest disappointment would be my own New Orleans Specters. Built with a team that can obviously play playoff hockey, made it to the SHL Challenge Cup Finals last season, and can obviously play hockey, won the Western Conference during the regular season, the specters just cant put it together to end a series quickly. In what would be the 3rd 7 game series matchup, in the young expansion teams first 2 seasons, the specters just couldn't finish when they had the series in the palm of their hands. Dropping all 4 games by one goal and dropping game 7 in the last 2 minutes of the game and series, the specters gotta figure out how to play a complete game all season long, shame.

There's no path to the SHL Challenge Cup Finals with out a bit of adversity, the Calgary-Jakarta-eSports Dragons had a bit of a rough patch with their team brand and identity during the regular season. After decades of the traditional Dragons logo GM, @steelhead, pulled the trigger on a new logo for the Dragons franchise. The new design was loved by fans initially, however a swifty couple of fans soon recognized the similarity of the new logo to one that is synonymous in the eSports world. While expected, just not in this manner, soon this new debacle would turn into the talk of the town. The Dragons management and fans would come out to defend their choice, however it seemed that the majority of the fans who were largely disappointed in the result of the were beginning to love the old way of. And they had to advance all the way from the Wild Card Round to get here
