Lil Manious is a solid player, and would go high in any fantasy league. However, his stock right now is high, VERY high! After getting close to points per game last season, ultimately ending with 45 points and the 29th ranking in points overall, Manious had an absolutely dominant preseason performance. He would be 5th in scoring, 3rd in hits, and 6th among forwards in ice time. No doubt about it, the role of Lil Manious is opening up, and he is going to be worth a high pick in this draft. Many people might scoff at you taking him in the first or second round, but he would be well worth it.

Another sleeper is Ostap Maksimov. On paper, this one might seem odd, but there is real potential here. In the preseason, it seems clear that Maksimov has supplanted Driftwood as the true top defenseman on the team. Considering Driftwood led the team with 53 points last season, there is potential for a big breakout season in this new role
