Tough Guys and Enforcers:

You want to know about tough guys? I have the toughest guy for you right here and his name is Darnell Johnson. @frithjofr. Johnson is all about the defense and he isn't ashamed of it. He doesn't need the glory that comes with goals, he gets his enjoyment from denying that glory from others. He isn't the biggest guy out there, standing at only 5'10 and 165 pounds, but he puts all of that frame to work. He has a natural talent on defense and has the strength and skating ability to make sure he always stays in front of the play on defense. Simply put, Darnell can absolutely lock down the ice and keep the puck out of his team's net. Okay, okay. So he's a good defenseman, but in what ways are he a tough guy? Well in pre-season he spent 65 minutes in the penalty box and with his 91 hits he isn't afraid to throw his body around and make opponents feel the hurt. Darnell is an absolute unit in the SMJHL for the Anchorage Armada and will be a true tough guy enforcer at his peak.
