This article discusses some of our boldest predictions about the upcoming S48 season.

While the preseason seemed to show the Winnipeg Jets are at their best, the best that they have been in seasons, the bold prediction is they get off to a slow start and barley get it together in time for the playoffs. They currently sit with an even record, losing as many games as they won, putting them in a 5 way tie with the Calgary Dragons, San Francisco Pride, Los Angles Panthers, and Texas Renegades. If you count the Eastern Conference, they are one of 6 teams with a 50% win rate. This trend will continue until game 22, when the Jets will go on a 6 game win streak, followed by a 4 games of trading wins and losses, before going on a 2 wins per loss tear until a 5 game winning streak into the playoffs. I base this entirely on the fact that we did something very similar in the preseason. Also, I think Hamilton will miss the playoffs.
