The players of the Detroit Falcons, both rookies and vets alike, gathered in downtown Detroit for a celebration of summer fun, good food, and meet-the-team experiences that were exclusive for season ticket holders! The players hosted an elimination style mini game tournament, that saw the newest rookies pitted against each other in games as tame as foosball and dance dance revolution competitions, and as intense as pool noodle sword fighting and freestyle rap face offs. Many were surprised to see Skao Anazibf crowned the winner of this tournament, and it was a sight to see him already so comfortable in his role as one of the new faces of the Detroit Falcons! After the games, a giant barbecue was started where burgers, corn on the cob and hot dogs were all given out, and Anazibf, Fouquette and Andros took the time to sit and eat with all the fans, meeting some of the kids, signing jerseys, and getting fans pumped up for what is going to be, in their words, “a historical season for the Falcons”. By days end, the heart of downtown Detroit was packed with almost 10,000 people, and even included guest appearances from past legendary Falcons like Vijanupatan Singh. If the season ticket holder party was any indication, the season is sure to be a real treat for Falcons fans!
