Player: Hiro Fujiwaka of the Los Angeles Panthers. Fujiwaka is a value pick that could be interesting if he sticks high up in the panthers line up. The team lost a lot of talent last year and rookie sensation Fujiwaka could be the guy to pick those minutes up. In preseason he showed that he is an important player for the new look panthers, he played top line minutes alongside Max Mauldin and Phillip Winter and also got time on the powerplay. I seriously believe that he's gonna have a great rookie year with the panthers on a team that is looking for scoring depth after dealing players last year most importantly Sophia Bennett. Fujiwaka was regularily the most exciting offensive player for the SMJHL's Anaheim Outlaws and proved that he could carry a line at that level. I wouldn't expect him to reach that level in the SHL right away but he's definitely got the potential. Preseason numbers shouldn't be over relied upon but 26 points including 11 goals is nothing to scoff at for a guy that I honestly believe has just begun showing what he's got.
