The Colorado Raptors were unfortunately eliminated in the first round to the Halifax Raiders in 6 games. The expectations heading into the playoffs weren't too high as the team has a general understanding of the state of the team and has realistic expectations. We felt there was a chance against the Raiders and it wouldn't be a for sure series and we feel like we ended up playing that way. 5 of 6 games ended in a 1 goal differential with one heading to overtime. The sole game that wasn't won by just 1 goal was only won by 2. No games were blowouts throughout this series. Both teams fought hard battled and each game was a close finish. I think this is something the Raptors can be proud of while also looking to improve next season. The standout player for the Raptors had to be Knox Booth. He is a rookie goalie and he stole the starting position from Thorstrom and completely dominated. he ended the series with a 2.47 GAA and a save percentage of .907%. There is a very good chance Booth has officially taken that starting job heading into next season which is a very promising thing for the team.
