In the weeks coming up the the first round of play for the Montreal Militia the entire team decided it would be best if we just relaxed, Vancouver was meant to be a pushover win and the rookies who carried the offence for the Militia this season had no idea the importance of preparation for something like the playoffs.
Instead of watching video, Hugh Jazz decides the best course of action for himself was continuing the career of his “Be a Pro” in NHL 19 because he wanted to see whose career would end up the best in the great scheme of things. Conor Tanner decided watching the SHL playoff games would be watching the SHL playoffs live instead of watching video of the Whalers, Conor already knew how to pass a puck and truly believed he was the best in the world at it, why would he need to continue practicing when he knew he was going to be the best player on the ice for either team at any given moment. Ultimately this plan came back to bite the Militia as both Conor and Hugh looked lost during game seven of the Militia Vancouver series and that seems to be what lost them the game and series overall. ![]() ![]() |
