NSFL PT CW TASK 13 sent CW TASK 1 If I were to choose a player from either Buffalo's or Winnipeg's roster or their prospect pool with the caveat being that they had to be S45 or newer to build my team around,I think I'd have to go with Alexander Selich. I might be biased because I've known the player of Selich a while and know just how hard he works, but also part of it being the fact that I went up against him a few times in the playoffs and just overall he's a tough guy to cover and he just does so much things on the offensive side of the game that I think he'd be the perfect building piece. I know that that might not be the most conventional way to start out the build of a team as others might opt for an defensive player, but I think that you can't go wrong choosing Selich as the main piece to start your team. @Tomen CW TASK 3 Well S48 didn't really go for me personally as I had hoped, but at least I won the race between me and Serpe on who would score the first goal. As far as what I accomplished, that list is pretty empty. I at least was able to stay out on the ice for a good bit and didn't get into much trouble as I only had 6 penalty minutes on the year and overall I proved to be a pretty good piece for my line as for a good amount of the year I was top 5 on the team in +/-. Overall I think I'm pretty good at spacing and facilitating the puck around and I'm pretty good at blocking shots. I think maybe aside from gradually improving in most every area I think my shot needs a ton of work. During the regular season I shot it 23 times and I don't think a single one was a real threat of actually going in. @TheDangaZone @JKortesi81 CW Task 5 2. Well it's a bit after the fact now that the series is over, but if you had asked me this before the series even began I'd still have gone with Buffalo's group of Tatu Makela, Connor Tanner and Charles Walker. Now I might have been biased in that selection for the simple fact that we had just played them and they beat us, but they truly are great players and tough to do a ton against. 3. I think looking at Winnipeg it's not really that big of a surprise that they made it as far as they have. Sure they might not be star studded as some other teams, but when you got a defense that comprises of Troy McClure III, Gary Grease and Slip McScruff I think you make it hard for opposing teams and will always give your offense a chance to win you some games. @Troy_McClure03 @FlappyGiraffe @Scrufdaddy 4. Honestly I think it again comes back to the defense for Buffalo. They have some great defensive pieces and like I said before about Winnipeg, when you've got some strong defense you will always put your team in a position where the offense can win it for you. I think Makela is one of the strongest dudes I've been on the ice with so I'll give him a nod. @WannabeFinn 5. This one might come as a surprise to some but I would have gone with Robinson. While he was actually one of the worst goalies in the SHL during the regular season (at least as far as top 10 goalies goes), but for whatever reason he really found his groove in the playoffs and flipped that switch and just dominated games. I'm not really sure anyone could explain it, but when a dude catches fire and gets hot it takes a lot to put out that flame ![]() |
