S50 PT #3 - Aches & Pains

Simmer gnomes are our future
Harvey Danger has had two nagging pains during his eight season career: His shoulders and his shins.
As a player who destroys the opposition along the wall with thunderous hits, Danger's shoulders can hurt from absolutely teeing up on a forward trying to score. But, unfortunately, he is not hitting at a 100% rate, and spends a lot of time missing the player and ramming himself into the boards. Every game it hurts a little more as shoulder meets glass and really, he does not go to the gym enough to build shoulder muscle. His shins hurt after every game because, if you haven't noticed, Texas isn't at the top of the standings meaning that the other team gets a lot of shots. Being the prideful guy that he is, he puts his body in front of more shots than he really should and pays the price. The trainers give him shots of whiskey for the pain. It feels great now but there may be serious consequences down the line. |
