Hi! We're not ashamed. There were many tough decisions that had to be made. Historically, backup goalies have never gotten extensive consideration for the best goalie award. The committee has always balanced raw stats against amount of games played, giving preference to players that put up great numbers while also playing the lion's share of starts for their teams. It's hard for great 1A/1B situations, and I understand frustrations people may feel about it. I stand by the decisions the committee made this year.
