As someone who is still sub 500 TPE, I didn't feel the need for a total revamp as I have far too much room anyways to mold my build into what I want without danger of it assigning some off the wall role/ build. With that in mind still, I took the time to analyze the field and see what defenseman produced the stats I was looking for the most as my end goal. I made a list of the top 12 defenseman who excelled at each general category I wish to emulate, added up the totals for each skill slot and then averaged it out across the board to find trends to which stats were their highest on average to create a list of skills I should be prioritizing as I grow into an SHL level player. The good news is I should have another 2 seasons of juniors play to do that and continue to monitor trends before I go into the deep in for TPE investment and really start to lock down the exact defensive build I want to hopefully generate the success and stats I want for this player. I spent LKS's career trying to be offensive as possible with him morphing into a 2 way D man eventually, and the plan here is to take that and make it a full time goal (2 way).
