Looking back now that the offseason has passed, having the free redistribution looming for most of the season became both a blessing and a curse for me. On the one hand, my build sucked for what I was trying to accomplish in the first place and knowing that I could correct it had I decided to stay down another season in juniors was certainly a nice option to have. But on the other hand, especially with the reality that I would be graduating to the SHL, the prospect of a radical build change was very enticing on more than one occasion. I've ultimately decided to remain on the path of an offense-minded winger, specifically building to increase my Sniper playstyle strength in the sim. I've had to sacrifice significantly in some areas but only as the season gets started. I think I've built Trevino in a way that I can still pivot into a different playstyle if the need or desire arises later this season or next but still retain the scoring upside that I currently envision him having.
