Thank you for this.  I get that USA has a ton of depth, but every season...without fail, we hear in our locker room, even from the newest rookies, about other countries already trying to pluck them away under the guise that they'll never get to play for USA...which is absolutely false.

I was under the impression rookies were never supposed to be contacted about a transfer until after the SMJHL Playoffs began.
