On top of his impressive points totals and his longevity, Wilson had only 287 penalty minutes across his entire career, which is also extremely impressive, especially since he had 905 hits, so it’s not like he shied away from the physical aspect of the game. He was also among the top shooters, averaging 3.3 shots per game.
