We had a nice quiet Halloween party planned for the team. It most certainly did not end up that way. The theme of the night was super heroes but with a twist. All the guy's on the team had to come up with a new super hero identity with a costume to match. I went as Steve Jones, The Working Class Hero, complete with a total back story. Luca Del Vecchio showed up as The Gate. A wall themed hero based on his home country of Italy and the repelling of barbarians at said gates. When Valentin Kalashnikov showed up is when things started to get wild. First off, he dressed up as a sandwich. The language wires got crossed and took hero to mean the sandwich. To help ease the embarrassment he went hard on the refreshments. What kicked it into the next gear is when Luc Pierre Lespineau Lebrunette showed up in a Juggernaut costume with a poorly drawn on Platoon logo. As soon as LP entered the party he started demolishing everything in his path just like he did this past season in the SHL. He was yelling about how he was toughest damn son of a bitch on the team. The bread clad Val did not take kindly to this since he also prides himself so much on his physical game. The two of them took turns breaking whatever wasn't nailed down over each other. The party ended once the police showed up in their riot gear based on reports from the neighbors.
