In order to encourage proper social distancing this year, the Tampa Bay Barracuda Halloween Party took place on the water. Everyone decked out their various water craft, from jet skis to leisure boats, in spooky dressing and drove around the bay. The biggest fright came when the prospects Elwulf Jericson and Colin Lambert @rum_ham decided it would be fun to rig up a few of the jet skis to remote controls and drive them around the bay. What they didn't realize was that setting throttles to a controller should be left to the professionals. About 10 minutes into their fun, the receiver went haywire and refused to accept any commands. The jet skis began to make a beeline towards the nearest boat and nearly collided with it before Lambert decided to jump onto the nearest one and shut it down. As punishment, Jericson was required to give up all of his candy to everyone present and act as delivery boy. The giant chicken costume really helped to set the scene for the night.
