The Halloween Party was socially distanced and very responsible. Slip McScruff hasn't had a haircut in over 9 months, so he just threw on a hat and a poncho to become Forrest Gump. He had the best costume because he was the only person there. The shenanigans were in fact just Slip McScruff running mile after mile alone in the middle of nowhere Manitoba. Unfortunately, he did not pick up a crowd of followers like in the movie, but maybe that is for the best because that's not very safe these days. However, that also meant that there was no one to hear him say "I don't feel like running anymore" when he was ready to turn in for the night.

None of his teammates saw his costume, but he was locked into the Forrest Gump voice. They just assumed he had another Forrest Gump night since he watches that movie every other month. Even if your dope costume flies under the radar, sometimes it's important to just have a night for yourself enjoying what you love.
