This Halloween, the Syndicate decided to hold a “Territory Competition” where every player competed against one another where they fought over pucks with generic labels. By pocketing the pucks into their own respective zones, they would earn the prize/candy that was associated with that puck assuming that they could keep hold of it at the end. What ended up happening was a 18 player mess on the rink with 18 separate areas, 18 separate players both trying to steal from one another as well as protecting their own little nuggets of treasure. Unfortunately for Minamino being the only rookie, he was regularly preyed on by multiple teammates at the same time. Especially Corey Kennedy who consistently spent the entire time taking what Minamino was able to bring in, without much regard for his own pool. Kit Smeb didn’t seem particularly interested in participating, instead just hanging out by his zone and picking up loose pucks and bringing them into his own area. Soonika decided to play the the goalie spot that he is, so he simply stayed put and stopped others from trying to take what he had brought in. At the end of it, unsurprisingly it was Martijn Westbroek who pulled in the biggest haul as he fed off of everybody else quietly with the dominant puck hog force that he is. Still being the nice guy off the ice that he is, he ended up sharing with everybody anyways.
