The Vancouver Whalers out west held an absolutely massive Halloween bash. Having an extra week to prepare for playoffs, no time can be left to waste, and the Whalers capitalized on it. The team held their Halloween party out on the ice: they all played a game for their fans dressed in their costumes. There's always a twist with these guys, though. This time, they had to play like the inspiration for their costumes would. Valtterri Kauppinen, dressed in his Daniil Nikiforov get up, shot the puck at least ten times on the net... and missed every single time, just as you would expect from good ol' Niki. Slimey Snail with his turtle costume was basically a traffic cone, scuttling around on the ice. Wile Coyote ended up getting a bit too into form with his coyote outfit though, as he ended up biting Devin Basher, who was dressed up as a large piece of steak for God knows what reason. Name Redacted... wore a hazmat suit and successfully quarantined himself away from the net. What a good guy. And finally, that brings us to general manager Dale Miller: he dressed up as a gnome priest (because he's so short) and ended up blessing the team awful religiously, so that they would get pucks in the back of the net when it mattered. As you would expect, he was too short to reach the top of the prop podium brought out onto the ice when he blessed everybody.
