Reporter: Welcome back! We've had a chance to sit down with one of Colorado's young rookies out of Swtizerland, Ruedi Huber to get some insight into how he's acclimatizing to both the league and his new home. So Ruedi, how are liking things in Colorado so far?
Ruedi Huber: I love it here! I grew up on a farm in Switzerland not far from the alps, so having a view of the Rockies here has really helped me feel settled. The fans have been not only extremely supportive but very friendly as well. It's been a smooth transition overall. Reporter: Glad to hear that Ruedi. Your english is very good, when did you start learning the language and has that been a challenge for you at all so far, although judging from our conversation so far I'd be inclined to say no. Ruedi Huber: Haha, thank you! My mother grew up in England and taught me English from a very young age, so I've been speaking it most of my life. I also had the opportunity to study it in school. Reporter: Last question for you, we have to speak about the team quickly. The Raptors have been off to a very hot start, what do you think are some of the keys to your success? Ruedi Huber: We play as a unit. Yes, we have our standout players and a very good goaltender behind us, but when we win it's by committee, which includes our many rookies stepping up and putting in the effort early on. Reporter: Well, there you have it, that was Ruedi Huber of the Colorado Raptors, thanks for tuning in. Sending it back to you Crystal. |
