These are always fun PTs when its predict the future time. We’re looking about 6 seasons into the future, and you’re going to see a lot of the same with Buffalo being on top. Finn and Tomen just rock this GM game better than a lot of people. Naturally, I have to say New Orleans will be back to contender status, as the core nucleus we have will be all in the 1400-1700 range of TPE. Toronto should be up there as well, although I’m curious to see how well they’ll be doing with the new cap rules. Same with Tampa Bay, as both teams have their core group all maxing out (TPE Tier-wise) around the same time and there won’t be room for everyone. Chicago feels like they’ll be on the downswing, a little like NOLA is now. I don’t know if Calgary can ever die. Edmonton feels like they could potentially fall off a bit too. And then of course, the sim wizards in Hamilton should be keeping the Steelhawks afloat forever. It’ll be really interesting to see how it all plays out! Chances are we’ll have two new expansion teams by then anyway. (196)
