The best defensive line Ole Olson has played with so far in his career just happens to be the only defensive line he's played with. The Carolina Kraken defensive second line comprised of Finn von Murphenstein and Ole Olson have combined for 50 points, 171 hits, 42 takeaways, 140 blocked shots, and an average 56.5 game rating this season. These players, while not performing especially well in the plus/minus category, have proven an excellent pair of blue liners for the young Kraken team. They have gotten better and better over the course of the season, and are looking to get off to a very quick start next season. Murphenstein was the main game steerer from the blue line, while Olson focused more on getting gritty by blocking shots, making hits, and getting into fights. While they aren't the best pairing in the league, they work quite well together and will likely dominate the league going forward. Hopefully they get the opportunity to continue playing on the same line to prove that they can be one of the best lines in the league.
