The most deadly combination of defenseman me and my team Newfoundland has had the misfortunate of going up against has to be the juggernaut team of Quebec with their very strong defenseman pair of Boris Petrov and Jari Hekkinen. Every time we had this team coming up you always knew you'd be put against this pair and it was never an easy game. Jari being the on the left and more of the point getter of the line putting up and impressive 36 points with an incredible +50 just to show off how well they can defend their own end at the same time. On the other side of the ice we have Boris who is more of a physical player making you regret anytime you come up his side as he will squeeze you out on the board and take the puck on you putting up 122 hits on the year and just following short of his partner at a +49. I believe these two players make up one of the most deadly blue lines this season and sure the playoffs will just show it off even more.
