I start off by telling them that the SHL is a simulation hockey league that stands for acceptance. It has become a neat community that provides an outlet to write as well as provide team comradery that is different from my normal life. I don't usually write so this gives me a chance to do something different. However if I were to be hiding the SHL and call it something different with the SHL acronym. I would all it Swanky Hulky Lads.
