Since I'm ashamed of who I am and how many hours I've already put into make believe hockey, the first thing I would have to tell people is that the SHL stands for SuperHero League, I'm part of a group of exceptional people with secret powers that we use to solve people's minor problems. An example is my friend NETMAN (yes you do always need to use all caps) who's power is that he can make nets appear as if from nowhere. My power is that I can make things pass through me, which really wouldn't be helpful as a goalie. We only solve minor problems so we don't draw too much attention to ourselves, so for example if someone drops their keys under the seat of their car and can't quite reach them, I come in to save the day and grab them no problem. When people ask why the SuperHero League exists if we only solve minor problems, I tell them that we mostly sit around and talk about our collective dream of becoming professional hockey players.
