Oh, I love explaining my weird hockey league to people. To me, it’s no more weird than playing dungeons and dragons, or video games. If I were to lie, I would use my vast imagination to tell them that SHL stands for Swedish Hockey League. Although, I think being deeply invested in either is nearly equally as weird for someone in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin with no material ties to Sweden.
