Detroit had a pretty rough start which was really surprising considering the roster on paper. Expectations for this season were pretty high and the team has started putting things together lately. One of the reason of this slow start could be because of their five s59 freshmen making too many mistakes and having a difficult time to adjust their play to the SMJHL. All of them seem to be fast learner though so expect a much better 2nd half. The Falcons record now stands at 17-11-4, good for 3rd place in the East division. Three of those wins came against the Colorado Raptors who is the only team still winless against Detroit. The final scores of those games were 6-2, 4-1, 3-2. We definitely seem to be their kryptonite even though both teams look pretty similar. Reasons to explain this are quite unknown to me, it's gotta have to with line settings so credit to our coaching staff.
