The biggest storyline this season thus far is the explosion of the Toronto North Stars to finally compete in the Great Lakes Division. The Great Lakes Division has been such a complete powerhouse between Chicago, Buffalo, and Hamilton, that for Toronto to finally begin overtaking somebody else in the division is a fantastic showing for them. The team has been riding high off the back of Rich and other fantastic forwards, that it's amazing to see them do well. Such hard work is finally paying off, you can't help but feel good for them. It's such a heartwarming situation that they can feel good about, maybe we don't have to drain the Great Lakes Division after all. Still, playoffs will be the time to show what their future of the division will really look like. Between every single team in that division looking like they can make a deep run, it will be difficult to see which team makes it the farthest.
