Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

Bias Aside, How can i not pick Texas. Presidents trophy winners, and within a game of making the finals. I know We lost to Hamilton ( the eventual champs) , But Texas climbed right back into it after going down 3-0 in the series to take it to a game 7. That series was almost all one goal games that could have gone either way. When you consider that the Texas Goalie ( White Goodman and Cillian Kavanagh ) had over a 0.924 save percentage each, you could obviously imagine how close that series went. Yes Toronto did well in their series against Buffalo and they deserve to be noticed but when you factor in how the finals went, You see who the better team was. Texas not only played the better team, But pushed them to a game 7 and almost walked into the Finals for the first time in a long time.

I loved this as a mPT when hotdog did it last season, so I'd like to bring it back as a permanent fixture. After all, we could all use a little positivity every now and then. Say something nice about another member or members, no word limit.

I want to start off with @Keygan for taking a chance on me when i first got here. I may have been the last pick the SMJHL draft that season but he took a chance and i'm forever grateful that he did.

@dankoa for picking me and making me feel like a vital part of the Texas organization. For allowing me to climb to Co-gm with him and believing in me to do a good job. @BarnabasCollins for helping me learn everything i needed to know about making money to help build and pad my bank when i had no idea, and making me his co in Montreal!

And @Nokazoa for jumping on a chance to have an expansion team with me. He's been an amazing Co-gm and there is no one else i would have loved doing it with!!
