The Purge is a concept where typically illegal things (e.g., robbery, murder) are legalized for one day. In an SHL-purge, there's a game day where everything typically illegal to do on the ice is now legal. No rules for sticks or pads, no penalties, no icing, etc. What will your player do on the ice to make the most of this and gain a competitive advantage?

Blood sport: the future of the SHL. In a world where the three R’s don’t exist: rules, regulations and referees, the sport of hockey descends on a dark chapter, one that was never thought to be possible. But alas, the dark lord commission has finally found his answer to bring in the blood hungry fans back into the arenas. The plan was simple, yet effective: stick modifiers. Don’t want to play with a wood stick? FINE. Use a metal one. Don’t want to spend that effort and time applying tape to the end of your stick? FINE. Use barbarbed wire. Don’t have an effective way to distract your opponents? FINE. Hollow out your stick and add in a super soaker style feature filled with pepper spray. Don’t want to juse use one stick? ALSO FINE. Double the damage means double the carnage and double the roars from the crowd. There is no doubt the game will officially be changed after this.

If real life versions of all 18 SHL team logos were entered into a fight, which would come out victorious and why? Which would be the first eliminated?

To first categorize and rank these potentially vicious mascots, we need to look at several different groupings. Naturally the first instinct most will turn to is our aviary population. Please note that these following are not the official mascot animals, but merely an interpretation of them. In no particular order, we have the Atlanta firehawk, the baltimore depressed eagle, the hamilton furry eagle and the calgary dragon. Obviously the dragon prevails above all these other smaller, less vicious birds. Now all the ground creatures. Of those that have a chance: the buffalo stampede (assuming more than one animal here), the chicago syndicate (again, more than one crime boss potential), the minnesota monarchs (many peoples of power) and the texas renegades. Due to the violence of guns, the syndicate will take this one. The aurora will not fight as it well...can’t. Naturally, nothing here will stop the dragon, although some of these beasts may leave a scratch or two

To some, an interesting part of sports leagues is following celebrity fans (like Jack with the Lakers or 50 Cent with the Knicks last week) - who would be some relevant SHL celebrity fans? Which well-known celebrities would be superfans of which SHL teams?

It’s been long rumored that one goaltender from the rival league, dare I say it, the National Hockey League, has been in attendance for many of the Manhattan Rage’s home games. At first, many would pass off Hank Lundqvist as just another tall european in a flashy black coat and a top hat. Many don’t even recognize who he is as he is sitting in the very last row in the arena for every game he attends. It’s not just that he is at the games, but he is a distraction within himself. No, it's not the goal horn you’re hearing...the loud, sobbing wails from Hank as he knows he was just never as good as his long time rival, Marty Brodeur.

If worst came to worst and the situation were dire....... you need nutrition....... you must consume your peers. If you had to eat another SHL player, who would you eat and why? (sorry in advance Julio)

Finally, my hunger has come to roost. But an important decision has to be made. If I am going to dive into this pit of madness, who will be the most appealing for me to eat. Can I help save someone by eating another? Don’t worry wingers, centers and defensement. You’re all safe. This hunger requires someone with a little girth, a little meat to the bone to make it all worthwhile. But which goalie will be the best? Do I assume a goalie with a poor GAA will have worked out less and are therefore a little more fatty? I think that might have to be it. I’m sorry Willie Miller, but please prepare yourself with a nice shower, perhaps some seasoning and bring over some condiments if you don’t mind
