What do possible SHL suitors have to be excited (or perhaps wary?) about when it comes to potentially drafting your player? Requirements: 150+ words. Joe Burrow is a very interesting draft prospect and one I definitely think is flying under the radar. Burrow had a solid rookie season with the Quebec City Citadelles in the Simulation Hockey Major Junior League. He recorded a total of 24 assist and 8 goals in his first season. Burrow does have a few concerns on the defensive side of things. Burrow just lacked the physical aggression the Citadelles hoped to see. Burrow’s line had a -6 plus minus on the season. There is potential in him to improve defensively but in my honest opinion I did not see enough of him on the offensive side of things to cancel it out. I expect Burrow to go in the 17-40 pick range with a likelihood of him going in the mid to late 20’s as a top 10 2nd round pick. The future is bright for the kid but there is some work he needs to put in this offseason if he wants to take the next step in his career 172 words |
