This question seems…topical, shall we say.

I have not been on the site long, but like many people, the brouhaha surrounding Hamilton’s season sixty prospects rubbed me the wrong way.  While I did chime in, I did so in my usual manner - I made a joke that belied my actual feelings.  More specifically, I compared head office to Spaceball’s Dark Helmet, who punishes an overeager radar tech for “going over his helmet.”  Although I think this approach is generally a good one - deflecting avoids stupid fights over petty b.s. - a more straightforward tone is important at times.  Fortunately, everyone else on site took care of that for me.
