Code: Task #1 - 3 TPE (162 words) Code: Task #3 - 2 TPE The Knights fan appreciation night would take on some extra meaning this season and also honor the late Alicia Melchiott. Freshly baked bread painstakingly following Alicia's recipe 's would be handed out to the fans to show our appreciation and help bring her dream of becoming a baker to fruition. It would be given out the first game of the season and playoffs against the Great Fall Grizzlies, where she scored a goal in the 2nd OT period and set the Knights up to sweep the playoff series. The bread crust would be toasted in a way to show the number 19 that she wore and packaged in flags of the Gallian nation. (113 Words) Task #5 - 3 TPE While Ignaz Pleyel is pursing his dream of hockey rather than tickling the ivories. He hasn't forgotten his families business as premiere piano makers for over a century. And while he has the opportunity to pursue his dream of hockey he recognizes many kids do not have the opportunity. So he runs a charity that brings in those hockey players who failed to reach their dream and teach them to play piano to soothe their broken dreams and provide a way to stay around the game. While they may no longer be on the ice, they can still be in the rink playing tunes between face offs at the rinks. Songs like, Stompin Tom Collins, The Hockey Song and the CBC Hockey Night in Canada theme song and even the Zamboni's, I want to drive the Zamboni song. Yes, these failed hockey hopefuls may never reach their dreams on their ice, but they still can be involved in the awesome sport of hockey! (163 Words) Task #8 - 3 TPE I am pleased with my first season, it went far better than I thought it would with the Knights. Being drafted by the Knights who are in the midst of a rebuild gave me extra opportunities to prove my worth and work my way up the depth chart. Having been given a chance all the way up on the second line I was happy with the trust the team put on me and wanted to pay them back. While I wasn't sure what to expect for a first season, being counted on to be one of the team points producers wasn't it. The length of the season did prove to be a challenge, as well my production at the start was consistent I dropped off towards the end of the season. Defensively I still kept up positive numbers but wasn't able to produce at the rate I would have liked later in the season and into the playoffs. Going forward I need to work on my skating and round out more of my defensive game while still finding ways to put up points when it matters most. Looking forward to my sophomore season with the knights! (196 Words) Task #12 - 3 TPE When the Knights selected Ignaz Pleyel in the 3rd round, there wasn't a lot known about this player. He wasn't the flashiest player, or the fastest but he went to those dirty areas and willing to sacrifice to make the play. Suffice to say, I think he's met and exceeded any of the initial expectations. He's worked tirelessly all season to become a complete 200' foot hockey player improving his defensive game immensely. His skating was probably his weakest point and he's worked hard to rectify that, getting stronger and faster throughout the season. His contribution on the ice on both ends was noticeable for the Knights all season long, average .5 points a game in his Rookie season. Coming into the S62 draft, he's put himself in contention to be a good early 2nd round pick up or a steal if he goes as late as the 3rd round. Wouldn't even be that surprised if some team decides he's worth a first round pickup. Code: Task 16 - Milestones +3 TPE Milestone Claim |
