Interesting, so you think I know players in this league outside of my team? That's a lot you are asking for, but ok. Look at me, I'm definitely an up and coming superstar (maybe), who would be on the first team described. In my draft class - ok, you got me, I know other players outside of my own team - I am not the TPE leader, this honor goes to Jonas Kahnwald from the Los Angeles Panthers, who would definitely join me in this up and coming team. The next one is an old teammate of mine back in the beginnings of my time in this league, we played together on the Anchorage Armada. None less than the future star Theo Kondos, currently playing for the Texas Renegades. Another one that comes to my mind, who I never played with, but still remember from my deep dive of my first season, is the upcoming star Ryuuji Minamino, he's already one of the top picks in fantasy for his rather young age. Last but not least we need another forward, and I can't decide who of the two should get the nod. So both are welcome in my team, hello Anton Mihailov and Pablo Salvatici. Both are awesome teammates in Atlanta. I have no idea about goalies in this league tho. The only one that comes to mind is Evgeny - I think - Petrov. Welcome Reno!

So that's the squad that's going to hit the league by storm and easily racks up the tourney. We met at the first training and had some nice interaction (so you can't say I haven't talked about the first training as requested).

Think I'm trapped in the first prompt now, I can see a pattern right there. You really think I remembered what I wrote on the first point task? That's a lot to ask for. But I will try. I chose team up and coming with some teammates I mostly remember. So our first game is against the grizzled vets. And while they are experienced vets, they are old and not up to the game they once were. We lack in experience, but make up with it with physicality. We are fast, agile and just powerhouses, each and every one of us. So we crush them, of course. Would say it's a 7-2 or something like that, pretty clear from the beginning. The speed of our play compared with the chemistry we built up in the short camp we had before, gets us to a heroic first win in the tournament. All of us had a stellar game, more so on the offensive side than defense, that's why I didn't shine a lot. But still recorded an assist. So there's that. The upcoming opponents will be hard to challenge, so it's nice to start off with a win.

I'm trapped in this, right? Ok, let's do this. We started good into the tourney facing the old farts, but now the superstars of Hall of Famers were on the table. And they smashed us. You think young and coming would stand a chance? Nope, definitely not the case. They showed us what it takes to play hockey, they let us bleed with their experience and skills. A lot of training is ahead of us to get on their level. There wasn't one player that stood out and held up to the challenge, but it's a teamsports anyways. They never left us a chance right from the start. We were hyped up and saw a chance of a surprise, but they never let that happen. In the third we at least got to score, but that's only because they slowed down the intensity and let it happen. That's where we have to go to become superstars in this league. If it had a good thing, then that we now know what it takes to get better.

We already played them, we won that game. We play them again, and will win again, and did win again as I just read. Nice, we advanced a round in the playoffs.
Well, the round robin had its up and downs, but we got a solid performance going as the Up and Coming team in the tourney. The Veterans couldn't hold up with the speed of our game, it was almost like we had constant powerplay going that game. After the first game they seemed a bit closer to us in strength than they appeared now. I guess we made the perfect adjustments and used the experience of the prior games in the tournament to handle them. What was very nice to see is, that it seemed we took a very good lesson out of the game against the superstars and tried to act a little more like them, which worked like charm in that game. Now is the time to tighten that process of playing even more and further, now that we saw that it is indeed successful. On to the next game.

Ok, this is as dramatic as it's going to get. The Up- and Comers made it to the final game, it's for all or nothing. Well, we at least got to the finals, so it won't be nothing. We already played the Superstars back in the round robin and it was a blowout. They showed us what limits we still have in our game. To be fair, we learned our lessons from that game and improved. Experience is the key sometimes. But it's still a matchup David vs Goliath. We know we can take this league in a few seasons, but now, the challenge ahead seems merely impossible. Well, game on I'd say. We get beaten the crap out of us. In the first third we kind of keep up, but get 2 late goals. In the middle third we get to close in, but only to get another 3 against us. With 1-5 going into the last third, we know that this game is over. We manage to score 2 more, but they do the same and give us another 2. So that's a final score of 3-9. We made the final at least. Yay!

Bonus - Final Thoughts: Good idea, although I felt trapped in it at first. I even kind of liked it. PTs are rather low level things, so it's hard to build up a real story, and reading over everything probably shows that. And no thanks, I haven't re-read my submissions haha
