Coach: I know that if I go to your agent that they'll literally rake you over the coals for missing practice boy. So you better give me the best damn excuse I ever heard if you don't want me to leave the punishment to them.

Dave Heinrich: No excuses from me sir.

Coach: Well get to laps then double the usual.

Dave Heinrich: Yes sir!

Short time later

Coach: So one of the training staff caught your boy skipping the extra practice last Friday after I was told that he was too hurt for it. He said he had no excuses for me, but didn't seem worried about a punishment from you. You know anything about what he was up to then?

Agent Tesla: I know everything about it and in fact told him he need not lie to you about it. His company was requested by a young boy in a local cancer ward and I deemed that more important than overworking himself with an extra practice. Now if you disagree with that assessment you are welcome to find out what it feels like to have all of your organs spontaneously shifted to outside your skin. Do you disagree?

Coach: I'm just going to waive that absence.
