S67 SMJHL Postseason Bonanza

Code 1:
After a last place finish, our fans that stuck it out until the end deserve something for them. One bright spot was our prowess at scoring shorthanded goals. So the gift is like a foam finger, only shorter. Like small hand, normal size fingers. It is not often your crowd cheers when you take a penalty, and now they can cheer and hold up these short hand fingers as well. Seeing as how we didn't make the playoffs, we are going to give them away the first day of playoffs. Also we don't have storage for this many hands, so it is better if our fans have to hold onto them.

Code 7:
I would have to go with the top team Quebec City Citadelles as favourites. Sophie Bordeleau had an amazing season, and with Caleb Hayden in net, I really like their chances. Probably my second team, not really an underdog, would be Detroit. Bnana NWaffles tore it up this year, and given any space in the playoffs could carry his team to victory.

Code 8:
I am very grateful for the team that drafted me, but lets take a look at how I could do elsewhere. I think first place team Quebec City Citadelles would be a good fit. They are stacked up front and in between the pipes, but could use a little more help on the back end. I could slot in on the second or third pairing, and really shore up that defense, I don't think I would mess up any team chemistry being down the roster, plus joining the top team should give me the best chances at the cup, which would be a great bonus to being a late season addition.

Code 10:
I think Sophie Bordeleau is really going to excel these playoffs. They had a great regular season, and I believe will pick it up a level during what I will believe will be a deep playoff run. Coming second during regular season in points, third in goals, I believe they will really have the drive and push to show everyone that they are the top player in the league, and will be the top player in the postseason. Having a rest for the first round should bring them into the second round ready to fire on all cylinders, and make a charge for the cup.

A dream team. This has to be lead by Bnana NWaffles. Lead the league in goals and points, while also being top ten in plus minus and assists. Just dominated the year, easy pick for the C spot. FInished 27 points ahead of his next teammate really shows how he drove the play. Next up would be Din Djarin on RW. More of a set up man, still has the goal scoring touch. Not to mention his amazing OGR, just excelled at getting scoring chances. On LW I would take David-Arturri Donskoi. Had a great year with the Elk, leading them in goals and points also would a top notch GR, also throw a lot of hits to get back puck possession, and plays both ways very well. On Defense I would start with Hodor. Getting a shot through that dude is tough. Not a lot of points, be there is a reason he finished top on the team in plus minus, he doesn't get scored on. Last pick, and I am going off the rules a bit as he didn't make the playoffs, but Rasmus Bergling. Lead all defenseman in goals, top 10 in points, PPG, and blocked shots all while playing on a truly abysmal Newfoundland team. Put this guy on this starting six and he would dominate. Goalie pick would have to be Caleb Hayden. 40 win season, under 3 GAA, top 10 in every needed goalie stat, the guy is a workhorse and really guided the Citadelles to first place finish.

Code 15:
Offseason started early for me, unfortunately not even making the playoffs. I am hoping this is for the best, as it will give me more time to relax with my family. Hanging out at home, playing with my kids, and having some more time for computer games. Can't wait to get out in the sun some more as well. Beach time, home time, family time, training time. Still have to make sure to stay in shape, and be ready for next season. Can't slow down now, my career is only beginning and the draft is coming up sooner than I think.

Code 18:
Starting out this year I did not really know what I wanted out of this experience. I can tell you now I have fully gotten into it. My goals now, as I feel all players should be striving for, is for sure making the Hall of Fame. I mean it does not get any better than that. I do feel a site job would be in my future, I am not quite sure what that would be yet, but if I keep as involved and up to date as I currently am, I would love to help out in others ways as well.
